Ճոզէֆ Թոմաս «Ճո» Մորթըն Կրտս. (անգլերէն՝ Joseph Thomas "Joe" Morton, Jr. , ծնած 18 Հոկտեմբեր, 1947) Ամերիկացի բեմի, հեռուստաշարներու եւ ֆիլմի դերասան է։ Ան աշխատած է Ճոն Սէյլզի հետ The Brother from Another Planet (1984), City of Hope (1991) եւ Lone Star (1996) ֆիլմերուն մէջ։ Ուրիշ ֆիլմեր որոնց մէջ նշանակութիւն ունեցող դեր մը ունի հետեւեալներն են՝ Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), Of Mice and Men (1992), Speed (1994), Apt Pupil (1998), What Lies Beneath (2000), Ali (2001), Paycheck (2003), Stealth (2005) եւ American Gangster (2007)։ 2014-ին, Մորթըն շահեցաւ Primetime Emmy Award մրցանակափաշխման հանդիսութեան Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series մրցանակին իր Ռոուըն Փոփ դերին, Օլիվիա Փոփի հայր Scandal հեռուստաշարին մէջ։ Ան նաեւ ճանչցուած է իր Հէնրի Տիքըն դերին համար Eureka հեռուստաշարին մէջ։

Մորթընը ծնած է Նիւ Եորք Սիթիի Հարլեմ թաղամասին մէջ, Եւելինի՝ քարտուղարուհիի եւ Ճոզեֆ Թոմաս Մորթըն Աւագի՝ ԱՄՆ-ի Բանակի Հետախուզութեան սպայի որդին էր։

Իր հօր զինուորական ծառայութեան պատճառով, ան իր մանկութեան մէկ մասը անցուցած է Արեւմտեան Գերմանիոյ եւ Օքինաուայի մէջ։ Երբ Մորթընը 10 տարեկան էր, իր հայրը մահացաւ։

Մորթընը մեծցած է որպէս Կաթողիկէ եւ որոշ ժամանակ յաճախած է Կաթողիկէ ռազմական դպրոց։ Ան եկեղեցական սպասաւոր էր եւ մտածած էր քահանայ դառնալու մասին։

Մորթընը աւարտեց Էնտրու Ճեքսընի Բարձրագոյն Դպրոցը (Andrew Jackson High School) եւ տրամա սորվեցաւ Հոֆսթրայի Համալսարանին մէջ։
