Լիեժի տաճար

Լիեժի Սուրբ Պօղոսի տաճար (ֆրանսերէն՝ Cathédrale Saint-Paul de Liège) — Մայր տաճար Պելճիքայի Թագաւորութեան Լիեժ քաղաքին մէջ, Լիեժի եպիսկոպոսին նստավայրն է:

Պատմութիւն

Մինչև 1795 թիւն Լիեժին մէջ Մայր տաճարի կարգավիճակ ունեցած է Լամպերտ Մաաստրիխտցու տաճարն, զոր Ֆրանսական մեծ յեղափոխութեան թոհուբոհին մէջ աւերված է, իսկ Սուրբ Պօղոսին տաճարն քաղաքի եօթ քոլեկիալ տաճարներէն մին եղած էր պարզապէս: Վերջինիս շինութիւն սկսած է տասներորդ դարուն մէջ (969-971 թիվերու միջև), աւարտի է հասուցած 13-15-րդ դարերուն: Տասնիններորդ դարի կեսերին Սուրբ Պօղոսի տաճարն վերակառուցած են՝ ճարտարապետ Ժան-Շարլ Տելսոյի նախագիծով և ղեկավարութեամբ: Վերնասրահն, լայնական նաւն և գլխաւոր նաւն կառուցած են տասներեքերորդ դարուն, ապսիդներն՝ տասնչորսերորդին մէջ: Ընդ սմին՝ ճարտարապետական այդ տարրերն կառուցած են «ճառագայթային կեօոթիք» անուանեալ ոճին մէջ: Յետագային նորացումներ և նորոգումներ կատարված են պարոքքօ և նոր քլասիք ոճերու ոգիով:

Սուրբ Պողոսին տաճարն Մայր տաճարի կարգավիճակ ստացած է Նաբոլէոն Առաջինի (Նաբոլէոն Պոնաբարտի) իշխանութեան տարիներուն, Լիեժի քաղաքացիների խնդրանոք: 1804-ին կայսեր կողմէն տաճարին ընծայված է պատկառելի չափերով զանգ մը, զոր կը գործածվի առ այսօր:
